Anyone Heard this Sensor? If not than we are here to tell you. Exmor Sensor is developed by Sony to boost their Camera’s performance in Low Light which earlier used CMOS Sensor. Exmor Sensor allows exceptional photographs even by candlelight. Its twice sensitive in respect to a conventional front-illuminated CMOS sensor and also features low noise. Sony Introduced Exmor Sensor on HDR-XR500V and the HDR-XR520V cameras in 2009.

Now taking onto webcam, as we know there’s different world of webcams with various differences and different usability. After Sony’s innovation various companies introduced their sensors with similar functionality for example Apple used it in iPhone 4 and iPhone 4s and HTC in HTC EVO 4G LTE. But companies like Lenovo used it with the Sony’s name as Exmor Sensors in its various products mostly laptops as webcams. Similarly Sony also used their own innovation in its  Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc for first time and Sony uses this technology on all Sony Laptops.
