According to a recent IDC Report, the Windows Phones will gain space to compete against Apple iOS and will becomes Second running OS on Smartphones in 2016. While the Android will remain at the top spot. The researchers claims that Windows Phone will gain market share over the five-year period despite its slow start. Windows Phone will be the one of the top choice of the consumers in 2016 making Nokia top smartphone maker beside Samsung. Apple will loose its share in market due to lack of new users.

IDC also states that Android will be at its peak in 2012 with 61% users globally and then after it will start declining to about 52.9% in 2016 but it will take time to fully decline to its lowest. Today most of Android devices are manufactured by Samsung, HTC, Motorola and LG and this trend will continue in 2016. There’s also increase of estimated 39% in smartphone shipments making it to 686 Milllion shipments across the year 2012.
