Microsoft Office 2013 Preview Is Available for Download

Microsoft  announced its Office 365 and a preview of it is available for download from the Microsoft website. It includes features such as working with online image sources. But Microsoft says that Office 2013 would be dropping support for Windows XP and Vista and you will be unable to upgrade to the new Office 2013 package from these operating systems. Microsoft’s Chief Executive Steve Ballmer explained.

Office 2013 is based on the new Metro interface. Microsoft Outlook has received the most pronounced changes so far for example the Metro interface provides a new visualization for scheduled tasks. PowerPoint will include more templates and transition effects, and OneNote will include a new splash screen.

Microsoft Office 365 preview is available for download and the final version of the Product will be available in the first quarter of 2013.
