Second Jelly Bean Tablet launched By Karbonn in India with Lower Price

The mobile company of India, Karbonn mobiles launches the world’s second jelly Bean powered Tablet which is quite cheap in price and it will be available in the market around ₹7000 which is quite lower than the Google’s NEXUS Tablet which starts from $199.

The Karbonn Smart Tab 1 is powered by a MIPS-based 1.2GHz processor and it has expandable memory via microSD cards of up to 32GB, making it someway behind Google’s relatively inexpensive Nexus 7 tablet. The 7-inch screen tablet supports 3G through a USB dongle, and its makers say it has a 3D G-sensor to enhance users’ gaming experience. Smart Tab’s cheaper price means that it needs to deal with an inferiority complex when compared to Nexus 7.

But in India the Smart Tab can give tough competition to the Nexus 7 tablet from Google by its lower price and it is also the first Jelly Bean (Android 4.1) tablet available in India, as the Nexus 7 doesn’t arrive here until October.

Google’s Nexus 7 Selling Quickly Claims Retailers

Google Nexus 7 which was announced last month is now officially available for buying across various retailers. If you want to buy it than buy it before retailers run out of stocks as its booming sales are decreasing stock piles of Nexus 7 at various Retailers stores. The $199 tablet is becoming hit due to its hardware and new Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

American video game and entertainment software retailer, Gamestop spokesperson said
We blew through the first two allotments.
Third allotment will be available in August. It may break Kindle Fire’s record and will compete hard against Apple’s iPad. Similarly Sam’s Club also run out of stock for 16 GB variant of Google Nexus 7.

But there’s no figures or number by which we can say its a hit around the world. Google executives also have been quoted saying that the company will not generate a profit margin when the Nexus 7 is sold in retail stores.

Until now Nexus 7 isn’t available in various parts of world including India also. Shares in the company climbed 1.1 per cent to $576.52, buoyed by a broader U.S. market rally.
