Mozilla Mobile OS Sets For Release In Early 2013

As the Mobile industry developing very fast its now Mozilla ready to launch the new mobile operating system based on HTML 5. Mozilla is working for last 1year on this project and Mozilla is ready to launch it in early 2013. Firefox OS is the new name for what Mozilla had pegged as “Boot to Gecko.”  In this new mobile OS, developers said that we are making apps which can run web rather than only in Mozilla. Developers use the parts of Android to accomplish their task. The developers said they will work “in the open,” releasing the source code in real time, and working through standards groups for relevant pieces.

The Device manufacturers TCL Communication Technology (under the Alcatel One Touch brand) and ZTE today announced their intentions to manufacture the first devices to feature the new Firefox OS, using Snapdragon™ processors from Qualcomm Incorporated.The leading operators Deutsche Telekom, Etisalat, Smart, Sprint, Telecom Italia, Telefónica and Telenor  are backing the open Firefox OS as an exciting new entrant to the smartphone marketplace.
