Intel’s Turbo Boost Technology To Boost Performance

Intel Introduced Turbo Boost Technology in its Latest 3rd Generation Processors namely i3, i5 and i7. We also have special difference between these processors check out. Intel’s Turbo Boost technology increases or enables higher performance through the availability of increased core frequency when the Operating System needs higher performance during processes.

Frequency increase depends on the number of inactive cores, thermal conditions, CPU load and various other factors. All Operating System supports this technology and is referred to as “dynamic overclocking”. Frequency is increased in number of steps. On Desktop Variant of chip it is increased in 1 – 5 steps, or 133 – 667 MHz, while some mobile CPUs support up to 10 steps, or 1.33 GHz boost.

It is activated and deactivated automatically. Turbo Boost Technology 2.0 allows the processor to operate at a power level that is higher than its rated upper power limit (TDP) for short durations to maximize performance. Guys there are various aspects of technology which we use but don’t know them. That’s why we are here for you to raise curtains.
