Samsung Now Trying Hands On Two Windows 8 Smartphones

After using Android OS, now Samsung is working on two Windows 8 Phones. This information was revealed when Samsung submitted the documents in a court as part of the ongoing trial in the patent case filed against it by Apple. According to the documents, some more information regarding Windows 8 Smartphones is also revealed.

Documents state that the Devices are named as  ”Odyssey” and “Marco”  and both of them will run on Qualcomm MSM8960 chipset and a dual-core 1.5GHz system. Most of the features in “Odyssey” and “Marco” are similar. There are only a few changes between them as Odyssey will have a bigger 4.6 inch display with an HD resolution, and an 8-megapixel rear camera. While Macro is charged with 5-megapixel rear camera and S AMOLED 4 inch display. Both upcoming Windows 8 phones will be equipped with LTE support also.

Both these phones are suggested to be launch in Q4 of 2012. Samsung is one of the Microsoft’s launch partners for WP8, as it was at the launch of Windows Phone 7. So guys we will look forward to it and what are your views about Windows 8 phones from Samsung.
