Yesterday after postponing its October 29th Event, Google at once announced fleet of new nexus devices. New lineup of Nexus devices include LG Nexus 4 Phone, Nexus 10 Tablet and Nexus 7 Tablet’s 16GB and 32GB variants.
This is for first time that LG developed Nexus phone and named as LG Nexus 4. This new Nexus 4 device is powered with powerful hardware along with new Android 4.2. Nexus 4 consist Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor with 1.5GHz Quad-Core Krait CPUs along with 2GB of RAM. You will find 4.7-inch WXGA True HD IPS Plus (1280 x 768 pixels) display on this new LG Nexus 4 phone. It provides clear photography with its 8 MP rear camera and 1.3 MP camera on front for video calling.
LG Nexus 4 8GB will be available for $299; 16GB for $349; available unlocked and without a contract on 11/13 on the Google Play store in the U.S., U.K., Australia, France, Germany, Spain and Canada. Currently no details are out for its launch and pricing in India.
As mentioned above Nexus 10 Tablet is also announced and is scheduled to launch on November 13. Google is here with its new Tablet, Nexus 10 to compete against iPad 4. Nexus 10 also runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Nexus 10 display is point for discussion because it provides higher resolution w.r.t any other pad or tablet. Its Display stands at 10.055″ at 2560-by-1600 (300ppi).
Again Nexus 10 costs 16GB for $399; 32GB for $499; available on 11/13 in the Google Play Store in the U.S., U.K., Australia, France, Germany, Spain, Canada and Japan.You’ll also be able to purchase the 32GB version in more than 2,000 Walmart stores in the U.S. Similarly no details are here for Indian counterparts but stay connected with we will let you know when more details will surface.
As Google announced Nexus Versions with higher Storage Capacity this time, So Nexus 7 also not far behind. Now you can get Nexus 7 16 GB and 32 GB variants also but from from November 13. Similarly currently it will not be available in India.
Hope Google will soon launch them in India also.
As we know Apple announced its iPad’s Mini version better known as iPadMini. After this launch it is clear now that Apple is changing its strategies according to the need of the market. The iPad Mini will compete directly with cheaper similar-sized tablets recently launched by Google, Amazon, Samsung and others.
iPad Mini features 7.9-inch Multi-Touch display 1024×768-pixel resolution and runs on iOS 6. The iPad Mini is powered by a dual-core A5 processor and has 5MP iSight rear camera and 1.2MP FaceTime front camera. Connectivity options in the tablet include Wi-Fi, 2G, 3G, 4G, Bluetooth 4.0 and 8-pin Lighting connector.
Apple is offering the Wi-Fi only iPad Mini in 16, 32 and 64GB capacities at $329, $429 and $519 respectively. For the 4G-compatible versions of the device, users will have to shell out an additional $130 for each variant. It will begin shipping from November 2nd. But there’s no sign of its launch in India this year. It is expected to land in India next year.
Along with iPad Mini launch Apple also announced 4th Generation iPad along with 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display. Mac Mini and New iMac are also on floors now.
Recently Microsoft announced their first Windows 8 tablet. It’s name is Surface tablet first. It will be launched in US on October 26th and after U.S. it will be launched in other countries. It has 10.6″ inch Capacitive touch display with Gorilla Glass to protect it from scratches and being broken. Surface Tablet has a 10.6″, 16:9 widescreen HD Display.
The tablet is only 9.3 mm thin and has 2 USB ports, including one USB power port which allows you charge your smartphone and other devices. It has a weight of around 1.5 lbs or 0.6 Kg. The device will come in two options in terms of operating system one with Windows 8RT and other is Windows 8 Pro. The tablet also has micro SD card slot which increases the storage capacity and it also has inbuilt memory around 32 GB, 64 GB or 128Gb depending on the model you choose.
In U.S. the initial stock of Surface RT devices has almost sold out and Microsoft promised October 26th delivery of the product. After this tablet will released in UK after a week of the launch in U.S.

Recently Microsoft announced Xbox Music to gain some space in digital music industry. So its the beginning of the new era with Windows 8, which is now up for pre order, and end of the Zune era. Microsoft is now doing things similar to Apple by introducing special services for its upcoming Windows 8. But Microsoft is just step ahead than Apple as Microsoft have more variety in its offerings. Microsoft Xbox Music will offer access to a global catalog of about 30 million songs. So in Windows 8 users will have default way to listen to songs with ads. Jerry Johnson, head of Microsoft’s music efforts, said he is committed to offering a free music streaming service. It seems that Microsoft has just realised that its attempts to turn the Xbox into an entertainment hub might provide it with the basis to give Apple a run for its money. Microsoft’s behavior does not appear to be all that different from that of Apple and Google, both of which include software for accessing their own music services in their mobile products.
Microsoft also plans to add a:

- A web-based client;
- Scan-and-Match feature similar to iTunes
- Social features that lets you see what your friends are listening to

Microsoft’s next Operating system Windows 8 is officially up for pre orders. Its official launch is expected on 26th oct, 2012. - For the physical media types : Users can reserve a packaged DVD of Window 8 Pro for $69.99 at Amazon, Best Buy, Staples, Office Depot, Microsoft stores and other retailers.
- For the downloaders : Users can upgrade their devices on Oct. 26 — the day the system officially launches — for $40. Both of those offers run through Jan. 31.
- For the computer buyers: Users can also get Windows 8 with the purchase of a new PC or other devices. Sony, Asus, Acer, Dell and HP have all announced new computers that will run the upgrade.
- For those who worry they missed the boat: If you just bought a Windows 7 PC, don’t despair. Users who purchased or will purchase an eligible PCs between June 2 and Jan. 31 can upgrade to Windows 8 for $14.99. To take advantage of that deal, users should register their qualifying PC at Microsoft’s Upgrade Offer Web site. Microsoft will then send a promotional code that gives access to the special price.
