Samsung Galaxy S3′s 30 Million Units Sold

According to Samsung they have sold 30 million Samsung Galaxy S3 units since its launch. Information came via Samsung Poland’s Facebook page where they confirmed it. A couple of months ago, 20 million sales mark was reached by Galaxy S3. These new numbers have outpaced Galaxy S and Galaxy S2 sales records.

Samsung is catching up fast by integrating latest features in its smartphones and people are actually liking to buy big screen phones now. Even yesterday Samsung outed Galaxy Note II sales stats also which has sold over 2 million units until now.

So now Galaxy S3 is an old thing and people might pick Nexus 4 now instead of Galaxy S3 (personal views). Samsung is now focusing on next big thing and also known as galaxy S IV. So let’s wait and watch what comes out of it.

Apple iPhone 5 launched in India

In New Delhi at a press event iPhone 5 got launched in India. This most awaited Apple iPhone 5 was launched with the special tariff plans from Airtel and Aircel.

Airtel offering the special tariff plans worth Rs. 300, 600, 1000, 1600, 2000 and Aircel is offering a special plan which includes benefits such as no monthly rental and free 1GB data usage, 500 minutes of voice calls, and 500 SMS per month. After hitting limit of free data and voice limits, users will be charged as per regular tariff rates. There is no rental fee on these plans. After 12 months, the customer has to pay only Rs. 399 per month to continue getting these benefits.

iPhone 5 is launched in 3 variants of 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. 16 GB model will sell for Rs. 45,500, 32 and 64 GB  are priced at Rs 52,500 and Rs 59,500 respectively. iPhone 5 is 20% lighter than the iPhone 4S. Micromax Launches A110 Superfone Canvas 2 And A90S Superfone PIXEL In India

Yesterday Micromax officially launched its two new Android powered Phones in India, namely A110 Superfone Canvas 2 and A90S Superfone Pixel. These days Micromax is launching heaps of new devices in order to keep its sales high as the festive season is here.

Coming onto  the specifications A110 Superfone Canvas 2 features 5-inch (480 x 854 pixels) TFT capacitive touch screen IPS display with 196 ppi and is powered by 1 GHz dual-core processor, 512MB RAM and runs on Android 4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich) OS. Micromax A110 Superfone Canvas 2 is a Dual SIM (GSM + GSM) with Dual Standby phone. Camera wise it is gigantic as it comes with 8MP autofocus camera with Dual LED flash and 0.3 MP front-facing Camera. There is 4 GB of internal memory and external memory can be expanded to 32GB with MicroSD. For connectivity, this device offers 3G, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio. Its powerful battery of 2000 mAh can allow you to talk upto 5 hours and up to 180 hours Standby. It available in two color options of black and white.

The smartphone is being sold for INT 9,990.

A90S Superfone Pixel

On other hand A90S Superfone PIXEL is compiled with 1.2Ghz dual-core processor and 512mb RAM. It also runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and have dual-SIM connectivity. It has the same features as that of A110 Superfone Canvas 2 except its battery which is of about 1600 mAh. It will cost you INR 12,990.

Google Announced Nexus 4, Nexus 10 and Nexus 7

Yesterday after postponing its October 29th Event, Google at once announced fleet of new nexus devices. New lineup of Nexus devices include LG Nexus 4 Phone, Nexus 10 Tablet and Nexus 7  Tablet’s 16GB and 32GB variants.

This is for first time that LG developed Nexus phone and named as LG Nexus 4. This new Nexus 4 device is powered with powerful hardware along with new Android 4.2. Nexus 4 consist Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor with 1.5GHz Quad-Core Krait CPUs along with 2GB of RAM. You will find 4.7-inch WXGA True HD IPS Plus (1280 x 768 pixels) display on this new LG Nexus 4 phone. It provides clear photography with its 8 MP rear camera and 1.3 MP camera on front for video calling.

LG Nexus 4 8GB will be available for $299; 16GB for $349; available unlocked and without a contract on 11/13 on the Google Play store in the U.S., U.K., Australia, France, Germany, Spain and Canada. Currently no details are out for its launch and pricing in India.

As mentioned above Nexus 10 Tablet is also announced and is scheduled to launch on November 13. Google is here with its new Tablet, Nexus 10 to compete against iPad 4. Nexus 10 also runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Nexus 10 display is point for discussion because it provides higher resolution w.r.t any other pad or tablet. Its Display stands at 10.055″ at 2560-by-1600 (300ppi).

Again Nexus 10 costs 16GB for $399; 32GB for $499; available on 11/13 in the Google Play Store in the U.S., U.K., Australia, France, Germany, Spain, Canada and Japan.You’ll also be able to purchase the 32GB version in more than 2,000 Walmart stores in the U.S. Similarly no details are here for Indian counterparts but stay connected with we will let you know when more details will surface.

As Google announced Nexus Versions with higher Storage Capacity this time, So Nexus 7 also not far behind. Now you can get Nexus 7 16 GB and 32 GB variants also but from from November 13. Similarly currently it will not be available in India.

iPhone 5 Coming To India On November 5

iPhone 5 is finally hitting Indian Shores on November 2 for INR 45550  for the 16GB version. Rs 52,500 for the 32GB version, and Rs 59,500 for the 64GB model. It will be distributed by Redington India and Ingram Micro within next two to three days and pre-orders will be live in a few hours.

iPhone 5 Features:
