The Verdict: Nope.
‘It’s all about the numbers’ seems to unfortunately be something I hear a serious bit when folks explore college admission. I am made by it sad because that is wholly false when referring to the admission procedure at USC. Students, counselors and parents tend to get really anxious about GPAs and test scores.
GPAs and test ratings are essential, but they aren’t the only determining element in a pupil’s admission decision. A student deciding on USC will be automatically admitted never nor denied based entirely on GPA and test scores.
We’re to know a learning pupil the greatest we perhaps can through the admission procedure. GPAs and test ratings help us determine how well you are carrying out academically, but we would also like to make the journey to know you beyond that. We want to learn about the manner in which you spend your own time outside associated with class. We are interested in learning your character and the full life experiences you could have had up until this point. We want to learn why you are considering going to university at USC. We should study from your teachers or counselors their perspective on who you are as a learning student and human being. We can not get all that information from just a GPA and a test score.
