The most anticipated new iPhone is gaining space in Rumor mills but this is not rumor as its confirmed by TechCrunch. According to published reports the new iPhone will have 19-Pin ‘mini’ Connector replacing 30-Pin connector from older versions of iPhone. It also suggests that Apple is now more concerned with space savings inside each device. The new port is similar in size to the Thunderbolt port available on new MacBook devices although the manufacturers said the pin layout will be different but they are not sure that’s why they are waiting for official announcement from Apple’s side about new iPhone and its details. Manufactures also quoting that they already preparing to construct iPhone 5 cases and ship replacements for free if they turned out to be less than perfect as New leaked images of new iPhone by MobileFun will see ”fairly drastic redesign” from the iPhone 4 and 4S.

HP has launched its brand new range of Envy Ultabooks and Sleekbooks in India with starting price Rs. 41,990. This range of Ultrabooks from HP is very thin and light in weight. HP also powered this series by Intel 3rd genration Ivy Bridge processors, USB 3.0 connectivity and ImagePads.
The HP ENVY Ultrabook comes in two variants Envy 4 and Envy 6. Envy 4 comes with 14 inch display and Envy 6 comes with 15.6 inch display. It includes an mSATA solid state drive along with Intel Rapid Start, Intel Identity Protection Technology, Intel Smart Response, Intel Smart Connect technologies and offers upto eight to nine hours of battery life. They are as thin as 19.8 mm, and start at a weight of 1.75 kg. The starting Price of this range of Ultrabooks is Rs. 57,990.
Envy Sleekbooks also offer up to eight to nine hours of battery life along with optional discrete graphics to experience strong gaming and multimedia performance, optimal audio experience with Beats Audio and HP ImagePad. USB is the universal serial bus which transfers the data from one computer to other via USB ports given by manufacturers of the computers. In 1994 the group of seven companies worked together for the development of USB.
In 1995 Intel make the first silicon of USB. USB 1.0 which was introduced in January 1996 has data transfer rate between 1.5 MB/s to 12 MB/s, which was quit low that’s why Hewlett-Packard, Intel, Lucent Technologies , NEC and Philips jointly make the USB 2.0 for higher data transfer rate upto 480 MB/s. After this even higher version was made USB 3.0 which was released in 2008 its transmission speed upto 5 GB/s.
The fastest object which is used to transfer data form device to device is USB 3.0 as there is not much difference in the physical structure of the USB 1.0 and USB 2.0 but USB 3.0 is different physically by the extra set of connectors that helps in speed of the data transmission. One end of the USB 3.0 which goes into our computer looks same but inside it their is an extra set of connectors. Other end of the cable which goes into the USB device looks different physically so it looks a bit like a USB plug that’s been crimped a little ways down one end. In result however you can connect the USB 3.0 devices to USB 2.0 port on your computer but you won’t get the speed advantage. In USB 3.0 dual-bus architecture is used to allow both USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 Super Speed operations to take place simultaneously which provides the capability of USB 3.0 device to run on USB 2.0 ports.
As we know Microsoft has revealed its debut Surface Tablet couple of days ago at Press Event in Los Angeles. With its unveiling Microsoft is now in the tough war of Tablets in which Samsung and Apple are big players. Microsoft’s Surface Tablet Pro is the first tablet which is going to run on Windows 8 and Surface Tablet will run Win RT. Surface Tablet may hit hard against Apple’s iPad due to its beautiful and powerful operating system. We are here to let you know what will happen when it will be launched for public, will it be a hit or flop? We are presenting comparison to better understand this war between Microsoft’s Surface Tablet and Apple’s iPad.
Currently some features of Microsoft’s Surface Tablet is under cover but we will update it as soon we received new information. Let’s start with little information provided by Microsoft to us.
CPU, GPU and Memory:
Microsoft newly revealed Surface Tablet is powered by NVIDIA’s Tegra 3 Processor with Ge Force GPU. On the other hand Apple is still using Dual Core A5x Processor but hey have increased graphics memory for better gaming, video playback and graphics work. From here clearly Surface Tablet is taking an edge as on papers its processor is big and powerful that Apple iPad’s but we have to wait for actual numbers. But Surface Tablet Pro is one step ahead of its smaller brother as it will run on Intel’s i5 processor. The initial version of the surface tablet will not feature discrete graphic card. If we keep numbers in mind than Microsoft’s surface is better than Apple’s iPad in this category.
Now coming onto display Apple’s iPad is packed with 9.7-inch Retina display with 2048×1536 pixel resolution with pixel count to 263ppi on screen. Microsoft Surface Tablet display is based on Clear Type HD display and pixel count is 207 ppi. Surface Tablet with Win RT will have 1366 x 768 resolution on its HD display while Surface Tablet Pro will be powered with Full HD display. Apple’s retina display is the main aspect to buy iPad than any other tablet. So from here Apple is the winner.
Microsoft’s Surface Tablet is 0.1 inch thinner than iPad 3 which is about 9.3 mm thin. Surface Tablet is manufactured from magnesium shell that they call VaporMg and Apple uses aluminium chassis. The Surface Tablet RT version scales at 1.49 pounds (676g) and iPad 3 model weighs 1.44 pounds (652g). Both Tablets are durable and gives premium look. Surface Tablet also consists detachable Keyboard and stand also. Its slightly sliding towards Surface in build quality.
Only minor details are out till now from Microsoft’s side that Tablet have dual cameras front and both are angled at 22 degrees. On Apple’s side iPad cameras are too good and will give tough competition to Microsoft. As specs are not fully available so this category will remain pending and will be updated when more information will be out.
Microsoft consists by wi-fi, microSD card slot, standard USB 2.0 port and HDMI support. Now Pro version have microSDXC slot, USB 3.0 and a miniDP port. iPad 3 is equipped with Bluetooth 4.0 high-speed to transfer at high speed and 3G and 4G connectivity for Verizon/AT&T (American Network Carrires). If we go in detail we find out that microsoft’s surface have more connectivity options than iPad 3 which makes it the winner from this category.
Microsoft said that surface tablet running on Win RT will be launched first and than Surface PRO will be launched after 3 months of its smaller variant launch. The price tag is also ok for the features which we are offered at Rs.35,000 to Rs.40,000 price tag for the top end Windows RT Surface will be around Rs 60,000 according to rumors. So Microsoft has set a benchmark for the windows 8 devices. Now we have to see which firms are going to opt it and will start manufacturing Windows Tablet.
